From the desk of the Principal
Principal's Message
It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you all to the
inaugural edition of Vimarsh Model United Nations hosted
at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Manvila on 17th and 18th July.
Vimarsh stands as a testament to the passion,
determination and vision of our students. What began as
a small delegation taking its first step into the world
of MUNs, has within a remarkably short span of time,
transformed into a confident and accomplished team that
achieved a 100% award record at Indian Institute of
Space Science and Technology Model United Nations.
Today, it is truly inspiring to witness these very
students take the initiative to organize and host the
first edition of Vimarsh. At its core, Model United
Nations is far more than a platform for debate. It is a
space where young minds learn the value of diplomacy,
leadership, cooperation and global awareness. It
nurtures confidence, critical thinking, public speaking
and the ability to engage with diverse perspectives,
qualities that are essential in shaping responsible
global citizens and future leaders.
With over 130 delegates from 10 schools expected to
participate, Vimarsh promises to be a vibrant exchange
of ideas, perspectives and solutions. The dedication of
the organizing team, the presence of an exceptional
executive board, and the spirit of healthy competition
reflected through exciting prizes, and the delegation
trophy for the best school will undoubtedly make this
conference a memorable experience for every participant.
I warmly welcome all the delegates, executive board
members, faculty coordinators, and the guests to
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Manvila campus. I encourage each
participant to make the most of this opportunity to
learn, collaborate, challenge ideas, and emerge as more
informed and empowered individuals.
